Bump

This wall hanging emerged from a series of material experiments with traditional weaving techniques. By intentionally altering the process—wrapping the elastic weft fabric multiple times around the nylon warp threads—I introduced tension that causes the surface to contract once released from the loom. This intervention transforms the material to such an extent that the original weaving technique becomes nearly unrecognizable, resulting in a dynamic and sculptural structure. The final form evokes an organic quality and invites tactile interaction.

The organic, flesh-like quality of the structure inspired me to envision the textile as a wearable bodysuit, suitable for dancers or performance artists. However, further development and refinement are required to fully realize this concept.
